1. The Beyonce. The pose of all poses, the Wonder Woman, whatever you want to call it, this pose is scientifically proven to make you feel confident. Use it wisely.
2. The Strike a Pose. This is one of my favorites. Lean into your front leg to create a feeling of length in your body. Take up space!
3. The Legs for Days. By placing one leg out in front of you, you’re creating an illusion of longer limbs and a smaller torso. What’s closest to the camera will always looking bigger.
4. The Kiss Me Through the ‘Gram. A cute and simple pose, great for when you need to take a good photo quickly.
5. The Broadway Dancer. This is a classic dancer pose, with one leg slighting bent and turned in. Lean into this pose for a sexy silhouette.
6. The Vegas Dancer. The opposite of The Broadway Dancer, this pose turns the knee out like a burlesque queen. Stick out the hips for a plus.
7. The Look Back at It. Literally do this. Turn your back to the camera, spread your feet apart and then twist to look back at the camera. Peach emoji.
8. The Sexy Flamingo. My go-to pose! This is a universally flattering pose that makes anyone feel sexay! Press your shoulder blades together, chest forward, hips back.
9. The Instragram Twist. Another classic and simple pose. This one is like a little black dress; slimming and a staple in any girl’s feed.
10. The Kick ‘Em to the Curb. Posing in action! This one usually takes a few shots to get right. Take your time! Make sure the leg that’s kicking is closest to the camera for a flattering bum. You’re welcome.
11. The Float. Another action shot that may require a few tries. Keep it simple by leaving the arms by your sides and looking down.
12. The Jump. This is one of the harder poses to capture. The timing has to be just right, so take a lot of photos when working on this pose! The trick is to snap at the height of the jump or just on the way down.
13. The Hair Toss. This shot is a hundred in one! Take it slowly, because you’ll get dizzy if you throw your head around too much.
14. The Dance it Out. I love this one! Shake your hips and twist from side to side. Add a hair toss for extra movement. Take lots of photos for the perfect shot!
15. The Not Michael Jackson. Ugh. But the pose did come from him. This one works best with sturdy shoes or sneakers. Rise up on your toes and bend your knees, keeping shoulders back and a long neck.
16. The Sit and Shout. Throwing your hands up in the air always adds a carefree feeling to a photo. Smile up to the sky or literally shout, “Yassssss!” Works everytime.
17. The Thinking Unicorn. One leg bent in, one leg bent out. Another easy pose when you want a quick shot that’s a little different. Don’t forget your posture!
18. The Casual. The easiest pose of them all! Super casual, super cool.
19. The Bridge of Fashun. Dun, dun, DUN! A pose for your inner extrovert! Plant your feet, place one hand behind you and lift the hips. You can keep both hands on the ground or bring one up to the face or hair!
20. The I’m Extra. I’m Extra, are you? If you are, this is your POSE. Kick that leg up in the air like you just don’t care.
21. The Mermaid. If you were obsessed with Ariel growing up, channel her ‘I’m-a-mofo-mermaid-on-a-rock” scene with this flattering pose.
22. The Influencer at Rest. Lawl. When you need a break from all the photoshoots and DMs, here’s your pose.
23. Crouching Blogger, Hidden Camera. This is a popular one. Add in different arm poses and different angles to change it up.
24. The Posed Candid. For when you want to look like you’re relaxing, even though internally you’re thinking about tinting your car windows so you can change outfits more easily.
25. The Reclined Candid. A great pose for the end of the photoshoot, when you’re sweaty and tired. Likely an actual candid.
These poses can all be mixed and matched, too! Arms up, hands on the hips, sitting down or standing up, don’t forget that you are beautiful inside and out! Follow me on Instagram for more poses and positivity.
